what changes the price
Because we bill by the hour, the price comes down to how long the job takes. The more we know before move day, the more accurate your estimate will be. These are the details worth mentioning when you call:
Stairs and
Multiple Stories
An extra crew member is recommended on all multiple-story moves, which changes the hourly rate.
Square Footage
Homes over 1,700 square feet usually move faster with a third mover on the crew.
Packed or Not Packed
A home that is fully boxed and ready moves much faster than one being packed as we go.
Long Carries
A long walk between the door and the truck adds time to every trip the crew makes.
Oversized Items
Gun safes, pianos, and gym equipment need to be flagged in advance so we bring the right crew and equipment.
Distance and Location
Moves outside the standard OKC metro are billed at $1.75 per mile from our Edmond truck lot.
How to Keep Your Moving Costs Down
Since the clock is what you are paying for, anything that speeds up move day lowers your total. These five make the biggest difference:
1 Declutter First
Donate or sell whatever you will not use before move day.
2 Pack Ahead of Time
A fully boxed home can cut hours off the job.
3 Be Ready for Arrival
Have boxes closed, labeled, and stacked near the door.
4 Break Down Beds Yourself
Disassembled frames and legs load much faster.
