About Thunder Moving - Oklahoma City's Family-Owned Moving Company
Thunder Moving is Oklahoma City's family-owned, non-franchise moving company, operating since 2019 out of Edmond. Built by a crew that actually moves for a living, and run by people who know what the job looks like from both sides of the truck.
Our Story
In 2019, Kye Keefe started Thunder Moving with one truck and a straightforward idea: Oklahoma City deserved a moving company that showed up, worked hard, and charged what it said it would. No franchise fees, no scripted sales team, no bait-and-switch pricing. The company grew because the work spoke for itself. Every member of the Thunder Moving office staff is a former mover who worked the job before stepping into an office role. In 2025, Thunder Moving expanded services to Norman, extending the same crew and standards to Cleveland County. A local company built by people who care about the work.

Owner
Kye founded Thunder Moving in 2019 with one truck and a belief that OKC deserved better. He built the company's culture around straight talk, hard work, and people-first operations. He's been on the truck, he's run the office, and he makes every decision that shapes how Thunder Moving operates.
Community Outreach
Kendall leads Thunder Moving's community presence across the OKC metro, connecting the company with local nonprofits, events, and the neighborhoods we serve. Her work keeps Thunder Moving grounded in the communities we move every day.
General Manager
Russell manages daily operations across every Thunder Moving job, making sure crews are in position, schedules run clean, and customers get the experience they were promised. As a former mover himself, he brings a ground-level understanding of the work.
Assistant General Manager
Francisco supports operations and coordinates with crews across the metro. His background on the truck means he knows exactly what causes a move to go right, and what creates problems before they happen.
Marketing Director
Jenn leads Thunder Moving's marketing and online presence, making sure the company's voice and story reach the people who need a reliable moving crew in central Oklahoma.
